Type 7 Class Shuttle

The Type 7 shuttlecraft was introduced in the mid-24th century and carried on board Federation starships through the early 25th century. These shuttles were short to medium range auxiliary craft. Some were equipped with warp drive and were useful for interstellar travel, while others were restricted to impulse speeds.

Type 7 shuttles were typically unarmed and had minimal deflector shield coverage. They did have escape transporters, which could be reconfigured for use as standard transporters if necessary. The interiors were similar to the Type 6.
