The Edison class has its roots in the primary hull components of the Hoover-class ships, recovered from mothballed assets in the aftermath of the Utopia Planitia disaster. Designed in Project Veritas, the Edison class was designed to complement the Gagarin-class Cruiser, with a focus on versatility and maneuverability. While less powerful than its cruiser counterpart, the Edison excels in agility and resource efficiency.
